yeah i get you. it just irks me that the forums are flatlining yet people are still advertising a discord to drag more members away. like, that's the last thing this shit hole needs.
at the end of the day i think it comes down to having one or the other. either the forums remain our unofficial hub of oddworld fan activity, or the discord takes over which it pretty much already has. can't really have both, one side is always going to be more sparsely active than the other. i choose to hang around here though because not all of my friends from this forum have accounts on discord. like oddjob. i need to keep an eye on oddjob to make sure he doesn't scold any more cats with boiling fucking water.
