This assignment had been too much. Monsters, disease, explosions, and he'd only just managed to pull himself into the train in time. Now he was safe inside though, with the rest of the team. He looked across their faces... Injured Mudokons, scarred Slig captains, stitched-up Interns... They looked so strange, as a group, but they had somehow managed to pull through. As he lay back in his seat, watching the titanic but bizarrely peaceful scenery rumble by, he thought back to the events of the day. He'd forged new friendships, fought for his life, as almost ended up as a zombie.
If that didn't get him some sick leave, he didn't know what would.
