Over religious upbringing, current philosophies, political views. I think there's a lot of us out there. Glad to see where your journey has taken you!
I personally like to think Oddworld had it's part to play in that for most of us, or why else would we keep returning?
Seeing that there's still activity here, however infrequent, gives me hope, and a desire to indeed check out that Discord.
