Yes, yes, yes to Sligstorm. I've got a soft spot for stories that cast a normally "bad" race as good, and I'm so interested to see what a Slig protagonist would be like, especially one at the absolute bottom of their hierarchy.
Hand of Odd does sound like it would be amazing, from what little I know of it so far. Half sim, half strategy game. Hell yes.
