How different are the easy and normal difficulty modes? (speedrunning wise) I know they let u damage boost past certain areas, making the game potentially faster, and carry more bombs, but do u think there will be any varitations route wise?

The easy run is like more straight forward than a hard mode speedrun because Abe doesn't get killed in one hit so he can carry on moving whilst getting damaged by Slig bullets.
