All this combat was wearing Chag down. He barely seemed to be able to summon the energy to move. Then, he felt a flow of painkillers and stimulants through his body, and turned to see Furlong attempting a smile beneath his tentacles.

The tunnel opened up, and Chag felt relieved to see the other party moving out of the opposite subway. The relief was shortlived, however, as more monsters were appearing. He gathered his strength and got to work.
