Amnesia Fortnight: Now With More Adventure Time!

Double Fine is doing another Amnesia Fortnight where you can pick which games will end up being made. As an added, awesome bonus, Pendleton Ward, creator of Adventure Time, has four game pitches that you can choose from to be made. This looks fun. Everyone should vote.

It costs a dollar to vote.

You have to beat the average to vote on the Pendleton Ward games.

Have they made the previous games yet?

I first quick-read it without the "but" word. I was confused.

This may be the best thing I will see all day.

I thought about doing it. But the system for voting looks like a long and tedious process. Besides, I wouldn't be able to afford the games I voted for once they are released.

From last year's AF, Autonomous has been released for the Leap controller. They're also working on Spacebase DF-9 and it's on Steam Early Access.

From previous years, Iron Brigade, Costume Quest, Stacking, and Once Apon A Monster were all initially prototyped during Amnesia Fornights.

Iron Brigade was great, didn't know it was a fortnight.

I'm glad they're doing this again - Spacebase DF-9 is decent and I keep going back for short playthroughs whenever they add a feature to it.

I like the sound of a few of the ideas in the line up (Breach, Dear Leader, Mnemonic...), but I think others seem a little too basic to have much longevity, or they borrow too heavily from existing games that have already done a concept to death (Scavengers, for example). But then I suppose that's why they're letting the public vote on them.

It's sad they did nothing with The White Birch besides the prototype. I'd really like to play the full game.
