I know English (first) and French (second)
and I'm learning Casaush.

OddjobAbe 01-21-2010 07:40 AM

I only speak English. I used to do a bit of German, but I lost interest.

Xavier 01-21-2010 07:47 AM

I've studied Latin at school but I won't pretend I can actually speak it.

1) French
2) Dutch
3) English

MeechMunchie 01-21-2010 07:49 AM

English, little bit of French, little bit of Russian, and a host of other languages I know many words in but can't actually construct sentences out of.

MA 01-21-2010 07:52 AM

English and country. yes, it may as well be a different language.

OddjobAbe 01-21-2010 07:54 AM

If we're going to be so specific, does anyone else here speak South Kirkby?

Wings of Fire 01-21-2010 08:06 AM

I speak English, I can pick out the odd Japanese word and phrase and I know the Hebrew alphabet.

Mac Sirloin 01-21-2010 08:11 AM

English, some french, and trying to learn Russian.

I also have some Vietnamese Books on tape sort of things but never listened to them.

Wil 01-21-2010 08:28 AM

English. I can recall some French and German from school, less so Latin. More recently I've dabbled in British Sign Language, Lojban and Thai, but never got very far. I haven't given up on these latter three. I'm just... taking a perpetual break from them.

slig# 5719 01-21-2010 08:37 AM

English, I could speak quite a bit of German but I haven't for about three years so i'm very rusty. I can also speak a few words of Japanese, Spanish, French and Latin but nothing in a coherant sentance.

Havoc 01-21-2010 08:44 AM

1st: Dutch
2nd: English

And maybe a tiny bit of German.

shaman 01-21-2010 09:32 AM

1st English.

used:) 01-21-2010 09:44 AM

English is my native tongue and my Spanish is so-so. I wouldn't call myself bilingual yet. After I master Spanish, I'd like to learn Italian and one more language before taking on Japanese.

Rex Tirano 01-21-2010 09:56 AM

Obviously, I can speak english and I'm learning Japanese at university, so hopefully I can speak that too!

I can speak a little French, enough to get by on Holiday and I can speak a little Cantonese, mainly for talking to my boyfriend with in public so my vocabulary is limited.

Hola. Como estas?

OddjobAbe 01-21-2010 10:21 AM

Es ist der Amerikaner. Schnell! Schnell!

That's the biggest phrase I can remember in German.

Ridg3 01-21-2010 10:23 AM

I speak English and braille.

How redundant. Everyone knows Spanish and Italian are the same language.

As for me I speak French, though not fluently. Enough to sound like I know what I'm talking about when someone asks me to say something in French, and in the end that's all that really matters.

Laser 01-21-2010 10:49 AM

The Queen's English and Braile.

Also fuck you Rig3 for stealing my 'joke' :D

STM 01-21-2010 11:03 AM

Spanish = *upside down question mark* Hola, me llamo Aidan, es tu?

Italian "---------------------------------------------------------------" hahaha

abe is now! 01-21-2010 12:03 PM

Spanish and Italian are not the same thing. Italian is more difficult to learn and talk. Anyway, I can speak Italian and English. Who also can speak Italian? Someone else voted it in the poll.

MeechMunchie 01-21-2010 12:41 PM

Italian uses the words 'boppity' and 'boopitio' more times.

Also, Vilkommen to ein Numberwangen. Sophie, ein Hamburger unt Simon, ein Frankfurter.

Godlesswanderer 01-21-2010 01:28 PM

English and enough French to hold a few short and not very interesting conversations.

私は日本語を話すことができます。

Fuck you guys! I had to download romaji to kana software because I wanted this to look professional.

Also, as I am not the only one to speak it; can a mod add Japanese to the poll.

Nate 01-21-2010 02:40 PM

I can speak English, a little bit of Hebrew (but can read written Hebrew easily even if I can't understand it), can ask for an orange juice in French and can understand a little bit of Yiddish when my dad inflicts it on me.

I know the Hebrew alphabet.

Define 'know'. Can you actually read words out?
