What languages can you speak?

I only speak English. I used to do a bit of German, but I lost interest.

I've studied Latin at school but I won't pretend I can actually speak it.

English, little bit of French, little bit of Russian, and a host of other languages I know many words in but can't actually construct sentences out of.

I speak English, I can pick out the odd Japanese word and phrase and I know the Hebrew alphabet.

English. I can recall some French and German from school, less so Latin. More recently I've dabbled in British Sign Language, Lojban and Thai, but never got very far. I haven't given up on these latter three. I'm just... taking a perpetual break from them.

English, I could speak quite a bit of German but I haven't for about three years so i'm very rusty. I can also speak a few words of Japanese, Spanish, French and Latin but nothing in a coherant sentance.

English is my native tongue and my Spanish is so-so. I wouldn't call myself bilingual yet. After I master Spanish, I'd like to learn Italian and one more language before taking on Japanese.

I can speak a little French, enough to get by on Holiday and I can speak a little Cantonese, mainly for talking to my boyfriend with in public so my vocabulary is limited. - Rexy |

Spanish and Italian are not the same thing. Italian is more difficult to learn and talk. Anyway, I can speak Italian and English. Who also can speak Italian? Someone else voted it in the poll.

Italian uses the words 'boppity' and 'boopitio' more times.

I can speak English, a little bit of Hebrew (but can read written Hebrew easily even if I can't understand it), can ask for an orange juice in French and can understand a little bit of Yiddish when my dad inflicts it on me.
