A List of Uploading Sites

This should help people who want to upload images, fan games, stuff etc.

I can add any sites to this list if you have any other suggestions.

General Usage Uploaders

www.filesmelt.com - Very good uploader. I use this for everything. Uploads seemingly infinite file sizes.

www.mediafire.com
- Another good alternative uploader, but it gets picky on upload speeds.

www.filefront.com - An okay uploading site.

www.megaupload.com - It's alright but it will make you wait a while.

www.sendspace.com
- An okay uploading site...bit slow, can be awkward to download from.

http://dropbox.com/ - Has a rather large size limit for files; very good! You'll have to sign up to make the best use out of it.

Images

www.photobucket.com - Very good if you have an account there. You can upload as many pictures as you want and it's very reliable. Apparently does videos too now.

www.imageshack.com - It's good, but I don't like how annoying it can be. Still, good alternative.

www.tinypic.com - It's a good alternative to Photobucket, and can also do videos too.

Videos

www.youtube.com - Pretty obvious why, and there are alot less limitations.

www.vimeo.com - Dunno why you'd use this but it's an alternative.

www.vidilife.com/ - Untested but looks quite promising.

Remember
- This list is open to more suggestions!

Add descriptions of each one in the same format I've used and I'll add them.

Dropbox is pretty good.

You sign up for an account and you get 2GB of storage on their server.

You can stick any filetype on there, and so long as it's in your public folder you can give out download links for it.

Should be useful for hosting things like custom levels, documents etc.

I approve of this. I guess Splat would too, but he's rather absent these days.

I do, but I approve of it in NOA&L.

The OWF has a somewhat limited upload space if you're prepared to tack an extra extension onto your file.
