It's a real mod for Abe's Oddysee.

They're lying. I opened it at my work computer and everything just shut off. When I turn it back on, it doesn't make it past the sign in screen. I've been on the phone with our tech support. If this gets traced back to me it's probably going to cost me my job.

Holy crap. I couldn't do shit all but each screen design is so well done. I honestly doubt anyone could legit complete this. Every step I take is another death trap...

So I tried to download it but I get the following error when installing:

R.E.L.I.V.E (AV Build: 3720)

Abe's Oddysee can't start because s1.lvl or r1.lvl was not found in the working directory. Copy relive files to the root game directory to fix this.

Guessing there's something else I need to install to get it to work? Never played any AO mods before and am not familiar with the modding community so xqsmi if that's a dumb Q.

It should just work straight out of the zip, you don't need to copy it into the AO folder. If all the files are extracted into the same folder you just need to launch weeners.exe and it should work fine. You should come into the discord and we can sort it out, plus I want to see you play it.
