It's been a great many years since the Cold War.

It was a period in time where "survival of the fittest" was at it's finest. Warriors crept up from the cold and fought for what little resources were left.

This long war gave birth to a ruthless warlord, simply known as the "Noob". He brought the war to all frontiers. From the land, to the sea, to the stars, he fought and conquered. His reign of blood and terror finally ended with his death at the end of the war.

The ice and snow has subsided, the world has become habitable and small tribes have formed from the ashes of old.

This fresh new world is ripe for exploitation, ready for someone or something to rule it...

Rules/Aim of the Game

The Rules:

"Fairly simple,
You create a character.
Lots of other people create characters.
Once we begin, you pick another player’s character and attack them.
Then you pick someone else, or indeed the same character again, and attack them too!
Repeat times infinity.

This is not an RPG: You are free to harm/maim/murder another player’s character. You are a hero with infinite Extra Lives!

The idea is not to be the best fighter or to be indestructible, but simply to have FUN! Don’t get angry if other people kill your character; just kill theirs in return!"

Goddamn, WOTA was the first community thing I got into when I first joined. If Splat and MM are in I'll be all over this.

I make no promises as I have a job and am all responsible now. But I might get the bug again... and I'll at least be hanging around.

I can barely muster the energy for Design Democracy right now, but I'll happily give things a go for a while.

Good point, Hula that is a really bad op. Copy some stuff from one of Splat's examples in the other threads.

Read the OP and then take a look at the first few pages if you weren't around for the old WOTA days.

Basically copy pasta'd some of Splat's stuff from his opening pages, too lazy to doing myself. :P

I'm using the same ol' character. Will need to crack on a opening comic strip tomorrow.

I'm going to sit this one out. I'm not really in the drawing mood these days, loads of work to handle too. That being said, this thread made look through pretty much the whole of WOTA II, which was a mild setback for my daily translation quota. Nice to see the rebirth of the Art Wars though.
