AO and AE on Apple products
Can I run AO and AE on iMac or other Apple products?
|
I don't think the originals are on Mac or iOS. However if your interested, New 'N' Tasty is coming for Mac on the 25th.
It might be interesting seeing AO and AE on iOS. If done right, it could be quite cool to play it on a iPad. |
I agree. I'm asking because I've got them on Steam and I'm buying an iMac soon... I thought it would have been funny to play them on it. Of course I'm buying New 'n' Tasty too.

Not without using a program like Wine, i'd suggest using that if you want to run a Windows only game on your Mac

Yes it does

Or install Windows on a partition through Bootcamp.
|
I'd do that. It's nice to have Windows anyway I think.
|
Yeah, Wine and other emulators are way too much hassle just to run some Steam games.
|
I have Abe games successfully running on my newest iMac on Bootcamp. You can install Windows via bootcamp if you have plenty of storage space. I am running the Windows 10 Technical Preview and it runs Abe very well.

If you happen to have the playstation versions, those can be played with an emulator on mac. I made iso images of my playstation copies to play on my mac since my playstation finally bit the dust. Twenty years old...how the time flies.

Can anyone explain in a few words how Wine works? Thank you guys.
