Possible bug/broke the game?
 

Hello Alcar (I think that was the name?) Anywho..

I am playing New n Tasty's Scrabania's temple level. When you're looking at the scene with all the doors it is the top most door on the right, the one that stands by itself to the left of the top most well. When first entering the level there was a glitch that caused the elevator to go up and it just happened to take the scrab with it. Now when I go through the rest of the level everything is fine until I get onto the elevator and go up where the bells and door is, there's now a scrab. I have tried everything. I chant to open the door by ringing the bells and the scrab will stand still during that but even if I allow him to hit me just once to get him on the elevator, I cannot get past him, either he kills me outright or I fall to my death anyway. I tried sneaking behind him to get to the door but there isn't enough room for that to occur, he still gets me. I watched multiple walk-throughs to make sure I wasn't missing anything and I didn't see a single play through that had a scrab by the bells and door. I think I broke the game. I tried to reset it by quitting and then resuming play after exiting to the title screen but it brought me back to the same saved point where that scrab is no longer guarding the elevator below the well as it should be, but is up top on the level with the bells and door.:fuzemb:

Alcar is the admin, but he's not a help guy. We all kinda work together on that one.

Have you tried restarting the level? The Load Game menu has both Restart Checkpoint and Restart Chapter options. The latter might mean you have to redo a bit of progress, but it's better than being stuck.

Ah, got ya. I just read the "how to ask for help properly" thread so I figured it was Alcar I was addressing, lol.

I guess I have no choice. I'll let you know if it doesn't work. So in this case, no news is good news I guess. Still, is there a way to fix that issue? lol I can't be the only person to have done that...right? It's not like there was a lever that I could have pulled to get the scrab up in the first place, it was a glitch that caused the elevator to rise in the first place. Hahaha.

Restart checkpoint was still stuck. Had to restart chapter. I was on the last room in the Scrabanian temple and now I have to do them all over again. Better than being stuck, but if this glitch hadn't happened in the first place this wouldn't even be an issue! Rar.:fuzmad:

Even I dont know what this is. And Ive finished the game over a hundred times.

Weird. If you ever get stuck like that again restarting chapter should fix it.

yeah. More of an IL runner for this game atm, a full game run of this is exhausting with all the glitches that still remain on the pS4 version. But im still trying for that any% WR.

What's an IL runner? What does IL stand for?

Yeah thats about right.

IL = Individual Levl, IL runner = Individual level speedrunner.
Lots of grinding to get a level as optimal as possible. I dont use any of the sequence breaks and big glitches like in the PC version, mostly cuz thats boring to me and U cant do most of them on consoles.
