that sounds pretty decent, i didn't think it would be about that. i assumed it would be a daft love story or something going by the cover artwork.

when i get some spare coins, i'm gonna try and get The No-Wax Killing Floor. looks interesting, and if the Dances With Cows book differed so much from what i thought it would be, then this looks like it could be fucking insane.

also I Am Paul's Dog and Nice Girls Don't Massacre Ants. they look like they'll be worthwhile.

ideally, if i enjoy them, which i'm pretty sure i will, i'd like to get all of them eventually.

"I Am Paul's Dog" is the next one I'll get when pay day comes. I hope it has something to do with death, because my friend Paul has gone through loads of dogs. They keep dying all over the place. "The No-Wax Killing Floor" looks like it's going to be nuts.

"Dances with Cows" had me in stitches the second I began reading - "Tory and Wendel were only four when they found their friend, Henry, hanging upside down on a giant steel hook in the refrigerator of the little slaughterhouse on the hill" (this may have been even funnier than Cotton Candy Autopsy's opening, "The circus was burning"). There's also a bit with cow-tippers. It's a shame Bob the Guy isn't here any more.

Forgive me, but how are either of those funny? Perhaps I need to see the pictures.

It's just sick humour. That's all. You've got to read the book to understand the vein it's written (and drawn) in.

they're not funny in the sense of "HAHAHA fuck me that's good!", more in the sense of "HAHA- shit, that's quite bad. but funny."

and i mentioned it before, What If This Were Heaven, Wouldn't That Be Hell? is on my list for ones to get when i have a chance.
