I wanna know about your brain. I want to go inside it and feel how it feels to be trapped in someone else's meat prison.

You can come and chill in mine, it's mostly sadness and class A drug haze these days though.

It feels like everyone has the same drug-addled lonely ass miserable brains. I'm outta weed but I feel like it'd be good to stop smoking for a while. I'm going to be an alcoholic in the meantime

yeah for serious, everything in moderation man. a little smoke, a little drink, it's all cool. don't go down the addiction route my friend.

a smoke and a drink is fine, just don't go crazy with either on a regular basis.

The Knight of the Craven persuasion is spot on, to be honest, definitely try to be economical with how much booze and ganj you use. Seen a couple of people in vulnerable states get into some pretty nasty vicious cycles by using those drugs as crutches, even though they're not massively harmful if you don't go overboard with them.

By the way, do you still produce music?

No drugs, no alc, no ganj.

But slightly insane and manic pixie.

And with a need to make things.

I feel this man, I've been for sure psychologically addicted to cannabis in the past and I've recently tried to reduce my drinking because it was becoming a daily habit and I was:
a.) getting fat
b.) getting drunk every evening

Not good.

Listen to your elders, Nep. We want the best for you and trust someone who knows, addiction fucking sucks. <3

You guys don't get it, I already said I'm way beyond the threshold. I'm not an alcy but I've already become way too dependant on weed. I've got a plan but I don't think I'll ever stop smoking for the rest of my life honestly

If you think that's because of a serious underlying problem, if you're not doing already, address it with a professional. And sooner is better than later, because the waiting lists can be pretty relentless

honestly if you think it's being detrimental i would have to mirror what oddjob said. maybe smoke less over time for damage limitation so that what you have lasts longer. i think i've mentioned before about smoking a couple ciggies between spliffs or whatever to sort of fool yourself into thinking you're smoking weed.

just really be careful how much and how often you smoke because i know for a fact severely abusing it can cause some psychological issues. it's not a terrible drug but it can exacerbate already existing problems. tbh any drug can fuck you up if it's abused, so if you feel it's already going down that road then definitely talk to someone like a GP, and family.

I know I should but I just won't. I really should do that, I want to do that, it's what's best for me and everything, but I just won't end up doing it because im a prick

If you're not, for whatever reason, motivated to do that entirely of your own volition, maybe mention it to a close friend or a family member, someone who you trust to make sure you get help if/when you need it (it's easy to send a short text, you can begin that conversation without immediately getting into the ins and outs). It's inconvenient and slightly intimidating to have to regard it as a problem, because then you've got the hassle of having to confront it properly, but it'll be better in the long term than letting it spiral out of control - weed and drink will demotivate you more and more until you're in an even worse place that will be infinitely harder to get out of, if you can at all.

Sorry to sound like a fucking Samaritan by the way

Who cares. Just do whateva and burn if you want.

Your life to go through in whatever way you want.

You'd be restricted if you come to harm me, ofc, but WHATEVA.

believe me, you'll begin to regret doing this when 'burning yourself out' starts to effect you in ways you're not comfortable with any more. physically, mentally. peoples attitudes change over time. you will regret ruining your health or getting addicted to some shit in your youth when you get older. almost guaranteed.

@Nep just try to look after yourself man. i think it might be an idea to exercise damage limitation if you can, you could buy the same amount but smoke less so that it lasts longer. you'll thank yourself in the long run, plus it's healthier.

Yeah I'll try to do that, I can probably have my bro ration it to me so I don't go overboard. It's the only thing that gives me any sort of comfort anymore though

@CravenKnight
Regret is not a useful emotion to me. I have been on the verge of death once already and I felt quite peaceful. By accepting everything I have been and have done as something I went through I got different eyes.

Now I just do what I want. Maybe I am lucky that my desires are bound to virtual world creation and not bodily pleasures, and that since that accident my emotions have been elevated most of the time.

So what you're basically saying is you don't have a substance abuse problem, unlike Nepsotic, who potentially does. It's not useful to advocate hedonism in that scenario Gish, so try not to.

OddJob, I know I don't know you and have no idea about your personal experiences and troubles you've had/are having, but really all you have to do is just not let it get to you man, that's my advice.
Be more like me, all you have to do is have less problems. It's not hard. Just do whatever you want man. Life's easy.
