There's a privately owned facility about 6 (or perhaps 10?) miles away from here which does weapons tests on behalf of the military - It's been active for as long as I've been alive and living here.

I dunno what kind of weaponry they test but the explosions are felt through the ground, are sometimes loud depending on the wind direction, and shake my house even though I live so far away - Just the other day the house shook so much that stuff...

I wasn't originally going to do this but then spontaneously decided to do it anyway.

I try and make the commentary as interesting as I can (despite me constantly slurring my speech), and offer a little bit of trivia, reveal stuff about the game that you probably didn't know (exploits), and analyse the game in places, saying things that I've noticed about it over the years.

Is it worth making yet another Let's Play thread about this though? Nobody's gonna watch it even...

Now polished a bit and re-uploaded, the old one had lots of errors so I re-filmed half of it and made it truer to the original trailer. People will still hate it though, I'm sure.

I was woken up about half an hour ago by lots of loud screaming. After the previous incident involving foxes, I've since wizened to their sounds instead of jumping to conclusions, although the screaming was unusual and prolonged, so I guessed one had got stuck or trapped somehow.

I went out to investigate with my head torch and thick leather gloves, and sure enough, one had managed to snag its leg in a roll of discarded fencing in some undergrowth behind my neighbours' back garden....

I have to keep going outside during the evenings to get firewood or to refill the cat food bowl from outside storage. Even though I live relatively close to a built-up area, the stars are quite visible here. It's something that somehow fascinates me, and having spent a few months of my life living in the middle of cities, it's something I don't take for granted.

Anyway if you're living in the northern hemisphere in Europe, now is a very good time to view Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn...

It's like we hadn't seen snow before or something! I mean it's winter - Doesn't the weather normally do this sort of thing around this time of year? Sure, some parts up north have -12 C but in most places it's only as low as -1 C and not at all unusual.

I mean I can understand news coverage of the cold snap over central Europe right now since temperatures there...
