God Bless Balanced Days

Posted 09-12-2007 at 07:10 AM by OddjobAbe
I feel this 'blogging' business is a good way to tell you what's going on in my life so you understand what my absences are for, and why sometimes I do things far later than I had said.
I'll begin by explaining today's happenings:

Today is what I would call a 'balanced day' - that means I had an equal amount of + (positive things) in my life than - (negative things).
I went to work at about eight. I was quite happy - was having a shorter day today than usual at work. Things were great - no clients for a whole hour. I could just relax. But Benny (the manager) likes to keep track on what we're doing. I enjoy working as a Doctor, but I have to say, Benny is an arsehole. He runs the hospital. He is payed to be an arsehole, and I was bollocked by him today for playing Pac-Man on the computer while waiting for a client. Darn. Well, at least I still have my job. - +

I'll go back to the earlier morning. Had some nice warm toast while watching the news. Saw the time, got in the car, started the engine, began to reverse - whoops, the car's wheel fell off. Knew the bus driver, so he let me on the bus free (he understood the situation). - +

Afternoon: fixed the car's wheel. Had a nice pancake. Accidentally stapled my hand when finishing paperwork. Very nice. Nothing else yet. Just been relaxing. I'm a lazy bugger. + -

What kind of doctor calls his patients ‘clients’?

A doctor that is stuck in an office hours on end that sees his patients more as clients - they're my source of money. That's that. I know they really aren't seen by others as clients, but I've always been a strange old bastard.

So what's your doctorate specialty and which college did you graduate from?

I'd be pretty pissed if I became a doctor and ended up in an office.

I got yelled at by some snotty kids dad who keeps claiming I am calling his son names, while I have less to do with him than a Panzer Tank does to a Ball Of Kittens.

No, Catzkiregs exclusion goes without saying, you should know that.

Hobo, I have a doctorate in medicine. I got it not so long ago. I didn't see my self only advising people on their problems in an office. Still, I enjoy certain parts of it. I am careful about information I give away. The college I used to go to might still have my records. I don't trust the workers there. I wouldn't want you 'getting dirt' on me (getting information about me). I'm not exactly one to trust people on forums. Plus I'm being visited by my darn mother.

How can you not trust Hobo? I mean, just look at his avatar of him spinning round and round, endlessly...

Edit- Sorry, had no idea this blog was so old. Just saw it featured and thought it was recent. :/
